  HISTORY

The High Head Green Gatherers formed in July 2008 around a campfire at High Head Ivegill. The idea was passed around to attempt a unique festival close to our homes. We found that local farmers were keen to be involved and so we decided to fix the date and go ahead even though we had a very short lead-up time to the festival. We loved it and everyone asked when the next one was happening. Building on the success of the last festival we have decided to organise a new festival for 2010.
The High Head Green Gatherers intend to create intimate festivals that attract friendly free-spirited people from the local area. We aim to support local musicians and craftspeople as well as green businesses whilst also promoting our local area and support farm diversification.
